A beautiful room in a recently-refurbished top floor maisonette. The flat belongs to my parents, so landlord-type issues always get resolved properly! It is well-maintained and has all mod cons: washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. I will be sorting out a wireless network, and installing a splitter so that you can have a TV in your room if you want.

It's just over the Brighton-Hove border in the Brunswick area, close to the shops and just a block away from the sea. The flat doesn't have a sitting room, but the hall, kitchen and bathroom are very spacious, and there's a dining table in the kitchen. I will be living in one room and renting out the other two (one large, one small).

The rooms are currently unfurnished but I would consider renting them for a slightly higher price and buying a bed, desk or whatever you need. The monthly rent is inclusive of Council Tax, gas, electricity, water and internet broadband connection.

I'm a 30-year-old professional female (web editor for a charity). I work in London and stay there some nights, so the flat won't feel crowded. I am reasonably clean and tidy, and respectful of people's space and privacy, and I hope my flatmates would be the same.

The room will be available to view from 7th January.
