    • You can list for free, and wait for matches to contact you
    • You can also subscribe for immediate online access to contact your matches
    • As a Free Access member (Non subscriber), you can send and receive emails from Full Access members for free, email Fre Access members and they will be notified of your interest
    • As a Full access member (subscriber), you can send e-mails to all members (they can all access your messages and contact you back)AND have access to phone numbers, if provided
  9. HOW CURRENT ARE THE LISTINGS?
    • The new, and updated ads will show "Here in the last 48h"
    • We update our database on a daily basis to make sure that listing that appear are current.
  10. WILL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BE SOLD TO OTHER COMPANIES?
    • We do not sell or share your personal information with other companies unless you opt to receive our partners’ offers.
  11. WHY USE FLATMATECLICK WHEN THERE ARE FREE FLATMATE SERVICES
    • All Free services are bulletin boards (yahoo, excite,...)
    • There is no matching process, you have to go through every single ad
    • The ads are not updated which results in a major waste of time
    • You expose yourself to anybody contacting you regardless of your specifications

  12. HOW MANY LISTING CAN I POST ON MY ACCOUNT
    • In our new system, you can post two ads in both “I have a room” and “I need a room” category.
    • Property Managers: we do offer a plan which allows up to 20 adverts per account
    • WHO DO I PAY MY SUBSCRIPTION TO?
      • If you pay by debit or credit card, your money will be collected by Flatmateclick's service company, W Services LLC. The charge will show on your credit card statement as "Flatmateclick". Any questions regarding subscriptions and payments should be directed to customer services who will be happy to help.

  4. I AM A SUBSCRIBER IN ONE TOWN, BUT MY STATUS HAS CHANGED. I NOW NEED TO LOOK IN A DIFFERENT TOWN. HOW CAN I CHANGE MY AREA?
    • Since you can have more than 1 listing per account, you just need to post a new ad in the town you are interested in through the "post a new ad" link in your account. You can either keep active or deactivate your former ad(s).
  5. WHEN I LISTED/SUBSCRIBED I WAS LOOKING FOR A ROOM, NOW I HAVE A ROOM FOR RENT. HOW CAN I LOOK AT PEOPLE WHO NEED A ROOM?
    • You can post a new listing within the same account. Just click on “Manage my account” on the left hand side menu and post a new listing in the appropriate category. You can either keep your former listing active or deactivate it.
  6. WHEN I LISTED/SUBSCRIBED I HAD A ROOM FOR RENT, NOW I NEED A ROOM. HOW CAN I LOOK AT ROOMS?
    • You can post a new listing within the same account. Just click on “Manage my account” on the left hand side menu and post a new listing in the appropriate category. You can either keep your former listing active or deactivate it.
  7. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE MY FAVOURITES?
    • The favorites folder allows you to keep track of those you have contacted or want to contact.
    • Access the profiles you are looking at without having to look through the results to find them.
    • Remove those from your favourites that are not of interest/will not work out to keep your contacts in order and up to date.
  8. I FORGOT MY LOG IN INFORMATION. HELP…
    • The email address you are receiving our updates on is the one you have used to register your account
    • You can request your password to be emailed to you by clicking onto the "I forgot my password" link in the member login section
    • A pop up window will appear asking you to enter the email address you provided on sign up
    • Check your personal email inbox, your password will be waiting for you!
  9. CAN I DELETE MY LISTING OR MEMBERSHIP?
    • Yes, you can log on to our web site with your User ID & Password
    • In the Manage my Ads/Account link, select the "Delete" link or the "Deactivate" link
    • "Delete" will completely remove the advert, and all messages sent/received. "Deactivate" turns the ad off, while retaining all information for access in the future
  10. SOMEONE CONTACTED ME, WHY CAN'T I SEE HIS/HER PROFILE?
    • If a member removes their profile from the service before you have the oppurtunity to access their message, the message and profile are no longer appear.
  11. HOW CAN I MAXIMIZE MY CHANCE IN FINDING A SUITABLE MATCH?
    • Give yourself plenty of time to find a flatmate
    • Bein proactive is a must
    • Return all messages and use the Favourites
    • Contact as many matches as possible
    • Add photos of your rental/yourself to your ad. Advertisements with photos receive up to 6 TIMES greater response
    • Provide a phone number in your emails
  12. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FIND A FLATMATE?
    • The amount of time depends on how quickly the other person responds
    • Hear it from our clients read their testimonials
  13. DOES FLATMATECLICK HAVE A REFUND POLICY?
    • You may cancel your Flatmateclick membership at any time: Log into your account, select the Deactivate my membership link on your member page. Because we provide you with the opportunity to preview all content on the site at no cost and only require payment when you wish to contact other members, we do not offer refunds of purchased time. However, if you haven’t found a room or a roommate within the time frame allowed by your registration, we would gladly renew your membership at a discounted price (subject to changes.)

  1. WHICH EMAIL FORMAT SHOULD I CHOOSE?
    • America Online users, or if you are not sure - select plain text format
    • Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator, and other web-based email services such as Yahoo and Hotmail - Select HTML format
  2. I CANNOT READ THE EMAIL YOU SENT ME. WHAT@S WRONG?
    • If the emails you are receiving are garbled up, you may have selected HTML as your email format. You will need to change your email format to plain text
    • Login to our web site with your User ID & Password. On your member page under Access Ad select on "Search Filters". A pop up box will appear scroll down to "Notification" next to "Your email format" select "Plain Text". On the right hand side select on "Save Changes"
  3. DO I NEED AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO USE FLATMATECLICK?
    • Yes, you do need an email address. We will send you updates (if requested) of new matches to your email so you will know when to log in, saving you time
    • There are many search engines who offer free email accounts
  4. CAN I BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL OF NEW MATCHES?
    • Yes, we can notify you automatically by email. JUST MAKE SURE TO SELECT THIS OPTION WHEN YOU ARE LISTING OR SUBSCRIBING.
    • Or you can access the site 24/7 with your User ID and Password and select that option in the search filters on your member page
  5. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH MATCHING RESULTS. I CAN'T CLICK ON THE LINK? HOW CAN I CONTACT THESE PEOPLE?
    • If you are AOL you may want to update your browser
    • In the mean time visit your member page
    • The matches you received will appear in your matching results
